After my wife and I looked after my mother for 4 1/2 years intensively (she had dementia), mum passed away. I am an executor of mum's estate, along with a relative, and the will leaves the estate shared between the 2 of us. I have been living in the flat with mum for over 20 years in all. I don't have enough money to buy out my relative's share. My relative is assuming that I will have to agree to sell the property (my home). Does anyone know what rights I have, any options to investigate? Many thanks.
