Hello, I live in Texas and was convicted of Aggrivated Assault in 1995 and began serving a 3 year sentence in 1997, and was released in July of 2000.
The questions I have are:
1: Is there any posibility of obtaining any sort of pardon or expungment?
2: If so, then what is the likelyhood of actually recieving one?
3: What steps would I need to take in order to acheve this goal?
I have had no trouble with the law since my release and have turned my life around. I am asking this because, I would very much like to put this behind me and continue with my life without this hanging over my head the rest of my life. It never bothered me haveing the "X" on my back until recently when I wanted to climb to the next rung in my life and have been denied housing and and jobs. Any information will be appreciated. Thank you in advance.
