What is the name of your state? Washington. In an Appeals court, how hard is it to prove ineffective council? My lawyer lied to me continuously. Gave the prosecutor pertinant information that otherwise, would have been unknown. Did not have 1 witness for my defense and made little to no effort on cross examination. When the Prosecutor played an audio, she submitted it as a female voice. However, anyone sitting in the courtroom could have clearly heard 3 different female voices and yet my lawyer (court appointed) at my urging, said nothing. During my trial I took notes on every person that testified, constantly pointing things out to my lawyer. He would say nothing. In an Appeallant court, do I stand a chance in proving, ineffective council?
