What is the name of your state? Texas

Does anyone know what the difference is between Deferred Adjudication and Pretrial Diversion? I've searched and searched and can't seem to find any concrete information on what the difference is. Does pretrial diversion (say for theft) result in no conviction also yet still shows up on your record as having been charged with a crime?
