State Of Florida - Domestic Violence five years ago on June 1st.

I have been turned down for a very good job at IBM as a result of this being on my record. I have another opportunity for a great job and I think I will again be turned down as a result of the same charge. My "record" is preventing me from advancing professionally.

IBM, probably most other companies as well, search back seven years.

What, if anything, can can I do to get this off of my record?

Please help.

Jon

There is a process called 'Expunging the record" which might be applicable to your case.

Contact an attorney to see if your situation warrants the process.
