Hi, I have a question. I have a friend who is in prison in Georgia. She was convicted of robbery in the summer of 99 for being the getaway driver in a gas station hold-up. Her two accomplices were charged with armed robbery because the store videotape shows them having a gun. However, the gun was never found so my friend only was charged with robbery. She was sentenced to 10 years having to serve 5. Her tentative parole month is 90% of 5 years. My question is: Is there any way she could be paroled earlier than the 90% set out by the state of Georgia for violent crimes?
