I hope someone can help. I was convicted (twice) of theft by deception. Once in the year of 1986 and once in 1989. I had a drug problem (no excuse).
I did not serve any time, but obviously I have those two convictions on my record. I am now scared to death that my past will come back to haunt me and destroy my chances of adopting a child (they do a finger print check).
Can anyone direct me as to how or where I can find the proper forms to apply for expungement? Can I expunge BOTH convictions?
I have since lead a VERY productive life and have had no other toubles with the law.
