My question is as follows- My daughter is 13 years old. She was arrested for shoplifting and has successfully completed a Prosecution Alternative Program (she never served any time) We recently received a packet to have her record expunged. Is this necessary? What are the ramifications of her not having her record sealed? Do I have to hire an attorney to have her record sealed? I am a single parent and cannot afford to hire an attorney!
