What is the name of your state? NY

I wanted to know if I could expunge a petit larceny conviction
from my record. Conviction is from back in 1993. No other
convictions since then. How would I go about doing so?

**A: petit larceny? What are they doing in NY now, speaking French in a court of law?

I believe that NY only allows expungement of non-convictions.

The applicable statutes are:
Purging Conviction Information; CPL 160.55; Family Court Act * 354.1 (Non-conviction: CPL 160.50, FCA ' 354.1)

Sealing Conviction Information: CPL 160.55(1.Xc);CPL 720.15; 3B-26; 32A-3B-21; 32A-20-1; 32A-2-16
