What is the name of your state? missouri
my brother lives in missouri and was involved in a accident over 6 years ago whereby the other driver was killed. there were no drugs or alcohol involved, although he did have a dui prior to the accident. the district attorney did not want to file charges, but the husband of the woman killed was very wealthy and hired a special prosecutor. in short, my brother took a plea on involuntary manslaughter, class c felony, no jail time and 5 years prob. his prob. is almost up, but he is having a very hard time finding a job due to background checks. can he get his record expunged or sealed when the prob is over? and what is the difference between expunged and sealed? thank you--anything would be of help.
