What is the name of your state? Texas
My son is on probation in one County and has gotten into trouble in another county. The county in which he is on probation is going to send him to Safe P, but can not until the charges in the other county are handled. They will not release him from the county jail though but he is bonded out of the other county. Can they keep him incarcerated until he goes to court in the other county which is 2 months away? He spoke with his court appointed lawyer from the county where he is on bond and ask him to come talk to him about the cases. His lawyer replied he was not a babysitter and there was nothing he can do until his court dates which span over a 3 month period. Does he have to keep that court appointed lawyer if he can not afford an attorney?
