What is the name of your state? Ohio

Almost 15 years ago I just turned 18 and shoplifted a pack of batteries. This was considered petty theft and was reduced to 4th degree mesdemeanor misuse of others property. The judge at the time told me it could be expunged with good behavior. Well 15 years later I am about to graduate college and need to know if it still needs to be expunged. I dont want to have to answer "yes" in the convicted of a crime column. I wasn't sure if they did it automatically after so many years. Plus would a conviction like this exclude me from working for the government, like the FBI or CDC? I live in a different state now and would like to know what steps to take if I need to take any. Thanks for your help.
