A friend of mines son was arrested in 1996 for 3 counts kindnapping and 2 counts of rape. He was placed at the portervilla state hospital as he is mentaly handicapped. The next time he went to court they lowered the case to luid act with a minor. he is being held under penal code 1370.1 and welfare code 6500. The time is up on these 2 codes and they want to reinstate them as of his last court hearing. And now they say they are charging him with 6 different counts which are not known at this time. How long can this case be drawn out. The public defender in this case is no help to this family any help out there for them
