Pleading guilty to Defiant Trespassing

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NJ

Long story short, I got summoned to appear in court for 2C:18-3b(2) Defiant Trespassing. I'm 20, with neither a lot of money to spare, nor an extensive wealth of knowledge on how the court systems work. Would pleading guilty be the best route? If so, would I need to get a lawyer? What kind of sentence am I looking at? Would this appear in a criminal record, and if so, would there be any way to expunge it?

Sorry for asking so many questions, but any help on this would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
