What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Idaho My husband pleaded guilty to a
misdemeanor (contracting without a license) in the state of Oregon. His attorney had arranged for a pleas bargain but the judge through it out and sentenced him to 90 days in jail which almost nobody had ever heard of for this type of "crime" Now he was told that he must serve 3 years probation and that he must serveit in the state of Oregon. We hava a home in Boise, Idaho and want to know why his probation can't be transferredt o Idaho. I would like to know what the chances are for this and what is necesary to proceed.

He makes application to the existing probation department. It is at discretion of the probation department in the convicting state as well as the one that you want it trasferred to allow the transfer.
