Unhappy

Hello, i need to ask a serious question i got on probation for drug paraphnia, and first time charged with this misdorminor i took three years probation, to offset a court fine of 150 dollars that i knew with a drug habit i couldnt pay. i know that didn't make any sence! At the time it did to me, anyway i went to rehab,my child went into froster care ,without probation giving me a probation officer, and Before going into rehab i got into a serious accident in which i lost the use of my right hand, i put my hand through a window which caused me to stay in the hospital for over a month i decided then to go to rehab. Just getting out of rehab i tryed to go on with my life but i failed and got arrested on the same charge of drug paraphonia still after 2 years with no probation officer, they violated me. Now i'm clean and sarced. When i turn myself in, do i still face 3 years in jail? And What can i expect if i get an attorney. Please answer me soon

Sincerely, On the run

Shirley on the run

In the state of Ca you can not be violated for a parole or probation that you never received. But the second offence of paraphanalia will not be taken lightly....Whether you have the use of your arm or not. I am curious to know though are you on the run with your child also, or is she still in foster care. You may be eligible for an in-house treatment facility that will allow your child to be with you if you are indeed clean and can make yourself eligible for drug court.

reply on the run

Hello becky im replying to your Question "Is my son with me on the run" WEll no he is with his Grandmother on my sons father side in Herkimer NY, Which Brings me to this i just found out today Jan 1st 2001 that marlyn my sons grandmother change my sons last name to his father name.My son told me this i was very upset not at the fact it got changed, fact they did nothing to notify me this happened the reason given to me was his father didnt know where i livedthatit was in the best interst for stephon , which i had no problem with, but marlyn knows where i live because i sent her a certified copy requesting for visitation with my son, with my new address and phone #
She did not reply so i called her and she explained why she didnt want to give me visits with my son, which was because i was in florida and scaredimight kiddnap my son,Doh not thinking
on those terms but fine i agreed that i would just have phone visits with my son. Marlyn is asking me to send my sons birth certificate but i am scared to do that because they have neglected to notify with the name change and they are acting like they dont know where im at. I quess what i like to find out is what right do i still have even though she has temporary custody of my son. Also scared she may pul that same trick to adopt my son

P.s Before i go to get my son back i need to handle my criminal matters in Ny first im looking in to getting an attorney. If could please give me advise on any prepaid attorneys services it would deeply be appreciated.
Sincerely,on the run
