What is the name of your state?

Dustin - Texas,

Does anyone know what the procedure is for requesting a sentence reduction? Is it a specific form, brief or document? And, who is it submitted to. Thanks.

What do you mean by sentence reduction? You or your attorney can negotiate a plea to a lesser offense with the DA. In trial you can request a lesser included offense in the jury charge, giving the jury the option of convicting only on a lesser offense. After you've been convicted and sentenced, there is no way to get that sentenced reduced. All you can do is attack that conviction by either filing a motion for a new trial or by filing an appeal.
