In Texas law, about statues of limitations,

12.05(a) The time during which the accused is absent from the state shall not be computed in the period of limitation.

Does that mean, if I move out of state, even I still hire an attorney in Texas, the statues of limitations can not be applied to me ?

it means how ever long you are out of state, it won't be included in the total length of time the state has to prosecute you.
