What is the name of your state? Texas

I am a probationer in TX and I may have to travel out of state (temporarily) for the company I work for. At first I was told by my PO that this would be fine, BUT I was just informed today (by my Probation Officer) that "out of state travel permits are no longer being issued to probationers, and the District Court Judge can't even approve it...."

I find that really hard to believe! I know people that have traveled on these issued permits... Have the laws really changed?!?!!

My PO blamed it on new laws passed by the Interstate Compact counsel?? Anybody know about this? I am clueless.. and furious:mad:
