Question

walkabout

What is the name of your state? CA. Got a felony DUI about 4 years ago and decided to leave the country rather than do the time. I am fine in europe and have clean record here with no problems. I need to come see my family for a quick visit and am concerened about clearing customs as I dont want to get arrested. Am I okay going through customs in another state or through Canada or Meixco...or am I just cooked regardless. Also I've heard they are doing some amnesty stuff if clean record for 5 years...anybody know anything? mostly just need to know about customs.

My advice: surrender.

Otherwise, stay out of the United States.
