What can I do to stop a misdeminor stop me from getting a job

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Georgia
I was arreasted in Riverdale G.A. back in January of 2004 for Criminal tresspass and obstructing a 911 call. those charges were dropped to a lesser plea bargin of disorderly conduct with a fine of $200.00 and no probation. I do medical billing work for hospitals and everything including the charges that were dropped are showing up on my record this is the only thing I have ever been locked up for and no other arrest how can I get this off of my background since this is the only charge I ever have is there something like a first time thing?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
