What is the name of your state? 14 Connecticut

When is it considered a conviction? When u accept a plea is that considered a conviction at that point or is it at ur day of sentencing? I was recently fired at my job because they said I was supposed to notify then within 5 days of my conviction but on the day they say the conviction is I just accepted the deal and plead guilty under the Alfred Doctrine but have not been sentenced yet. Thanks in advance.

You are 'convicted' at the time the sentence of guilty is rendered or given.

However, it really doesn't matter, since your employer can terminate you at any time.
