I recieved a DWI (Level 5) in North Carolina and have an Illinois License. The DWI took place in September 1999. When does the one year suspension of my license begin and end for Illinois? Did I even lose my license in Illinois? If so, why hasn't the state notified me of any suspension or requirements for getting my license back? North Carolina is currently in possession of my license until November. Do I still have an Illinois license? I am active duty military and have completed all the requirements for the state of North Carolina with the exception of the suspension time period.
