If while on probation for a DUI, you fail to appear for a court date, would a warrant be issued for arrest immediatley? Also, how would that warrant be served if you no longer live at former address or even in the state? Seems with the court systems and the system in general being so overloaded, if you do not come in contact with ANY law enforcement this could just hang over you in the background.

Yes, but when they do catch you, better make sure you have some nice oil ready because bubba is going to want a rub down !

Far better to go to court with your attorney & apologize very, very humbly & hope the judge doesn't toss you in jail until trial. These things don't go away.

hmmmmmmmmmm failer to appear. honey thats worse than what they origanally charged you with. and the warrent will follow you where ever you go. now matter what state, or country you are in it will be there.
