I was recently arrested in Savannah, GA for a municipal violation of Disorderly Conduct. I was charged with the city ordinance so I am not offered my constitutional right to a jury by jury. A lawyer told me in order to get one, I have to convince the judge to raise my crime to the misdemeanor offense which I know carries a heavier penality, but I must ahev a trial by jury, does anyone know what I should say to the judge to have him give me my trial by jury??? PLEASE HELP!!!
