son arrested over a month ago. Court appointed lawyer has seen him once and refusses to see him again even though requested many times. DA will not talk to family without lawyer and lawyer will not talk to family. Son has not been told of any court date or anything. He has requested another lawyer with no results. Is his civil rights being violated? If so , what is our recourse?

What is he arrested for? Did the officer put him in jail? On what charge or point that he has to be in Court.
