can vehicle titles and deeds be changed without reading of a will first? property taxes are due our lawyer told us dont worry about them?and that the lawyer that has the will dont have to answer him back?

I am confused.

There is NO READING OF THE WILL, except in the movies.

Depending on the facts and state, it is possible a spouse can elect a spousal share, regardless of the Will, and get the car by affidavit.

Ask and trust YOUR lawyer.

thats just what everyone asks has the will been read yet there is no spouse just a girlfriend. and the lawyer with the will wont return our calls and our lawyer says he dont have to answer him either. she(girlfriend) has the original and we dont get along she wont speak to us at all even refused to help with funeral arrangements and then complained she didnt like how we arranged them. husband is only living child and has a stepsister belonging to deceased stepmom. and was told we cant even get deceased fathers personal possesions out of the house they (deceased dad&girlfriend) lived in
