I have a question regarding probate. My parents made out a Durable Power of Attorney giving my sister and myself full power to act on their behalf for when they are gone or for when they can no longer make decicions. They own a home and some bank cd's. In the event that they pass away, do my sister and me have to go thru probate in order to have the title of the house changed or sold ?
Can we access their cd's or this accounts must also go thru probate ?
Thanks
