I did some work for a customer and was paid with a check in the amount of $330.00. The check was returned because of non-sufficient funds. I resubmitted the check and again it was returned. For eight months the customer has made false promises to pay me. I have called and written several letters. Now the customer does not respond. What, besides the $330.00, can I ask the small claims court re damages? Can I ask for the fees my bank charged me, the costs of the certified letters, ... any penalties??
