What is the name of your state? I am in San Diego, California
My last post I gave the wrong info. The correct info was the following: My friends parents had set up a living trust and named her brother in law as the trustee. So actually I am asking the same question but with the terms trustee in place of executor...
Does the county have public records for trust accounts?
She sent me this info:

"They had set up a "living trust" before they died and named him the "trustee". Maybe you can ask if the same answer applies for "living trust accounts" and is it "public record" the same as regular wills. Where would those records be held? They lived in Encinitas (San Diego County) and died there, too."

Thanks for any help..
