What is the name of your state? Missouri. We bought a pontoon boat from an individual who attested to the soundness of the craft, stating that it was in excellent condition. The first weekend we took it out on the water it nearly sank. When we returned home, we called the individual and told him what had happened and he said he would have his welder out to repair the pontoons. He has not sent anyone out yet and it's been several weeks although we've spoken with him twice and both times he said he would take care of the problem. What is the likelyhood that we could prevail if we file suit against him?
