What is the name of your state? Florida

the defense, I am plaintiff, filed for a notice of hearing with 5 pages on why the case should be dismissed. It has several mistakes where it assigns actions to incorect parties based on clear exhibits which they have.

Can I submit a "response" to the motion to dismiss prior to the hearing to the Judges office. If so what do I call it?

The defense called it "Defendant's motion to dismiss"

I need an answer now, so if I can, I can submit it before Monday's hearing.

I'm beginning not to like lawyers very much. In additon, he told me on a phone call that he was filing a motion for continuance but left out the motion to dismiss. Nice guy!

thanks for any help

ANSWER MY OWN QUESTION

Yes, I can. It is called a Notice of Opposition to the Defense motion to dismiss.
