I lent a friend of mine $800 because she says her rent money was stolen. She lived with her sister in Florida at the time. She told me that I would get it back and I have not yet seen it. It's been 6 months and she has moved back to DE and everytime I ask her, she changes the subject. Can I take her to court? I still have the Western Union receipt. Just wanted to make sure that I can win this case before I threaten to take her to court.
