mother sold me her mobile home. months later she died. there was no estate.so the will was not probated. we went to refinance for lower interest rate. found out the title was never changed into our name. we found the title at the finance co. still in mothers name.lawyer told me to file at the court house as a collector.we had to probate the will. this created an estate.mother owed credit cards. they filed a claim against the estate. they are trying to make me pay the bills.the will can not be closed until a settlement is made.what can we do?
