I am writing this for my dad who has some questions. I am going to explain the situation. My dad remarried about 3 years ago and when they got married moved into the house he was renting. After they got married she brought the house and put it in her name only. My dad has been paying the mortgage for almost 3 years now. They are both on the deed. I know my dad can do a quit claim deed and be through with it completely. I guess he just needs some reassurance from a legal person. If there is any information that would helpful I would appreciate it greatly.
