What is the name of your state? California, but legal question applies to Oregon

I'm asking this for a friend who has no internet access.
This friend just closed his antique store in Oregon and is in the process of moving to Los Angeles.
He also broke up with his girlfriend of 10 years because she not only wanted him to GIVE her co-ownership rights to his store, but she was also cheating on him.
Now here's his problem: he has a trailer filled with his merchandise from his store on her property (in Oregon), and all he wants to do is to hitch the trailer to the back of his car and leave; but she won't let him on her property, and she has threatened to have him arrested for trespassing if he tries to get his trailer.

What (inexspensive) legal action does he need to take to get his merchandise from her?

Thanks for any advice...

Let's hope your friend can prove ownership of the items in question. If he can, the easiest thing to do is to contact the local police, explain the situation, and see if they will accompany him to her property to retrieve his belongings. The police will typically prefer to do that than be called out to deal with an ugly or violent situation should he try to retrieve things on his own.

If they can't help him, then he really needs to talk to an attorney. Legal action, or the threat of legal action, may be necessary for her to relent.
