What is the name of your state? Florida. On June 18, 2002, I had a small claims court case. The defendant did not show up so I was awarded a judgement of $4,216.07 plus 9% interest a year. (I had lent her orginally $4,000.00 payback was supposed to be $175.00 a month for 24 months and she only made one payment of $170.00.) Since I won the case how do I go about collecting the funds. I have her address, etc. and I also I know where she is employed. Can I garnish a part of her wages and how do I go about it.
