Working and not getting paid!!!!

Recently a group af females started to work in a start-up company. At the beginning it was going fine. But as of yet, we have not gotten paid!! We have stopped working!! The president of the company keeps telling us that the money is going to be wired, but never comes!! We have seen, and gotten phone calls of checks being bounced!
What can we do? We tried to obtain a lawyer but it's costing us alot. The group is consist of 7 female employees and NO MALE!!
Is there any lawyer that can help us as pro-bono or a legal aid?????
