I was promoted to a press operator, then I got bumped to 3rd shift because of seniority, now the one that bumped me is going to 2nd shift now. So I figured I would get to go to day shift because I am next in line, they are hiring a new guy,(I guess you know that i am a woman)to take the one that quits place, but it was told to me that the guy might stay on day shift because they need the muscle power, I have been an operator for almost a year and this new guy was hired off the street with no experience, is this legal for them to do?
