I am a 17 year old female from Texas. I recently got a job at a local Dairy Queen. I thought I would be getting paid minimum wage, instead they are paying me $4.40 an hour. If I understand correctly, the government is proposing to raise minimum wage this summer. So while everyone else is going to be getting paid $5.15+ I'm still going to be at $4.40 an hour. This is my first job and I just want to be paid the correct wage. Please send me advice or helpful information.

WHAT FIGURE ARE YOU USING WHEN YOU CALCULATE YOUR EARNINGS...

IF ITS YOUR PAYCHECK...REMEMBER TAXES HAVE BEEN TAKEN OUT...

SOMEONE MAY MAKE 200 A WEEK BUT ONLY GET 160.
BUT THEY MAKE 5 AN HOUR...NOT 4...

UNDERSTAND...?
