What is the name of your state? New York City
My son was driving my secondhand car for a year and had parking tickets which he did not pay.
My car was towed away and I decided to just have it abandoned.
The city must have sold it for sure because it has been more than a year.
But I do not have any proof of the sale etc.
I have been still receiving demand to pay the parking tickets..even after I told them my car has been towed by them
They asked for proof..which I do not have.
The parking tickets is now almost $1,000........becuase it has been almost tow years.
Pls aadvise what I should do.
I am a single mom and is flat broke...ecept for my job which does not really pay well.
