Yesterday I made a poor decision and used inappropriate language towards a co-worker. This is my first disciplinary reprimand (I have not had any prior problems or incidences) and the co-worker has gone to Human Resources demanding that I be suspended or terminated. I have a clean work record and like I said before, this is the first (and only) time that I have used inappropriate language. After I said what I said, he came into my office and threatened me saying that I better watch out and that he is going to get me. I was told today that he might even take me to court. What are my rights, and what should I do?
