What is the name of your state? New Jersey
just out of curiousity, does any body know the law on recording telephone conversations in new jersey? My attorney states that I can but hey i am not sure.... i have taped conversations and while still on the phone i inform the other person right at the end... I do have to tape a conversation in the near future (and under the advice of my attorney) I am to use it as evidence is there anybody who can give me the laymans interpretation of a law that pertains to this ?and i did read the other posts but that only pertains to Ca and Texas i believe ......

thanks guys, usually i just tell people i am recording them as a macho strong arm tactic ( sometimes it works) but its good to know i wont get into trouble!!!!!
