I have a very similar case as well. My attorney tells me that
the ins. company is offering there limits which is 25k which includes medical bills. They say that medical is an option in a
policy in which the at fault driver does not have. However a school
bus hit them and my daughter has nerve damage as well. She is
only 7 yrs old. In my opoion most attorneys are crooks. My advice would be too also sue the driver for anything over there insurance policy limits that you are seeking. However this is my first and only lawsuit. I wish you the best
