What is the name of your state? California

I'm being sued for an auto accident. The person sueing me has filed a "Settlement Demand" requesting the full amount of my bodily injury limits on my insurance policy. My coverage for bodily injury was the minimum required by law (30K).

Do insurance companies typically take these settlement demands and move on or can I press the adjuster and insurance company attorney to fight/negotiate the settlement price?

well you figure it out, you are guilty, and you have the coverage, and if you fight it they may want more then the 30k, which the difference you will have to pay.

So you use your common sense, and dont piss off the person you hit.
