lawyer's responsibility

What is the name of your state? Maryland

My lawyer settled my accident several weeks ago. In the settlement forms I had to signed, he states what percentage goes to him, ,doctors and myself. Now he told me he didn't realized there are still unpaid medical bill. My question is, does the amount of medical bill has anything to do with the settlement? What responsibility does he have?

Depends ENTIRELY on the full specifics. What does the agreement say?
Why were the bills not included?
Who was liable for 'gathering' the bills?
Etc.
