hi i was involved in an auto accident back in march. it was a hit and run. i don't have full coverage. it has already been 7 months and the insurance is still investigating. i was able to obtain the other persons license plate, but they never talked to their insurance and his insurance is holding me back. can someone please tell me how long the insurance can investigate for. i tried calling and they keep telling me that they are waiting to get in touch with thier client, but what if they neveer do?
