i had an accident on 03/29/01. i rear-ended a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee, at a traffic light which gave me $1250 ( in a ford escort 1996) worth of damage and left him with just a scratched bumber. He had no dents, just scratched paint.... Now recently on 11/25/02 i receive a letter from his insurance company, with the police report and the estimate. He decided to fix his car on 09/25/02, more than a year since the accident had occured. The estimate is $755.00. Can he still claim this? Should i take him to court?

At the time of the accident he told me he did not care, since it was only minor scratches to the paint.

How do i know he did not back into a sign or a fire hydrant since then????

what should i do??????
