car parked hit by drunk driver totalled

my car was parked in front of my house a drunk driver came by and totalled it recovered the pay off but now im out of a car and cant afford a down payment on a replacement is there anything i can do

dont understand your post. what were you paid in regard to your vehicle? Did you receive the value of the car at the time of the accident or some other amount of money?

the car a 1994 ford probe gt was paid off approximately 5000.00 a value the insurance company put on it but as i said i am now out of a vehicle the money went straight to the finance company
