car accident and bewildered
What is the name of your state? ms i was crossing a 5 laned road and was hit in the rear passenger tire and fender of my pathfinder, just as i was about to completely clear the intersection. it was almost dark and he had no lights on and there were no witnesses. the police have left it to the insurance companies to determine fault, but there are no insurance companies as we were both issued citations for non-insurance. they want me to pay for their car but how do i determine who is liable for what and what should be my next step?
